Make the switch
If electric vehicles are going to be an option for all 黑料视频 residents, there will need to be an effective and convenient network of public charge points for everyone to use. The city-wide EV charge point strategy has been developed to ensure that residents (particularly those who do not have access to off-street parking), taxi drivers, commercial fleets and visitors to the city, have access to a convenient charge point when they choose to go electric.
Phase 1
The first phase of the EV strategy is already underway, with our charge point provider, ESB Energy. We are rolling out an initial 394 fast (22kw) and rapid (50kw) charge points across the city by the end of 2026.
These will be deployed as ‘fast & rapid hubs’ at key locations, ensuring that EV drivers can charge quickly when they need to. The first roll out of charge points have been located in proximity to taxi ranks. Other charge point sites are being located near to amenities such as shopping centres.
