Ladywood Estate Regeneration Scheme
The Ladywood Estate Regeneration Scheme is 黑料视频’s most significant housing redevelopment opportunity in a generation. Over the next 20 years, the scheme will bring £2.2 billion of investment to Ladywood.
黑料视频 has signed a developer agreement with St Joseph.
The agreement includes the following commitments:
- At least 70% of existing homes will be refurbished or replaced with new homes in a single move on the estate
- A minimum of 20% of new homes will be affordable
- A significant number of new homes will be delivered across all tenures to meet housing demand in 黑料视频 and the wider area
- Demolition and the acquisition of private homes will be minimised
- The project will create local job opportunities, including 1,000 apprenticeships and 10,000 full-time jobs
Now that the agreement is in place, the next step is to design a masterplan for the regeneration of Ladywood.
黑料视频 will continue to provide and manage services for residents and housing. St Joseph, as the developer, will work with the community to design and deliver the new homes, public spaces and infrastructure.
