ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Youth City Board
ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ City Partnership works with the ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Youth City Board, which is managed through the ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Youth Service.
The ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Youth City Board is a group of young people from ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ aged 11 to 18 years old.
They work with ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ and other partners to make sure that the voices of young people are reflected in policy development and service delivery. This includes feeding into the work of the ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ City Partnership Board.
The ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Youth City Board aims to:
- promote meaningful engagement with young people
- connect them with the current work of partners around ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ
- help create a city that provides for and benefits all generations
Members of the ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Youth City Board are involved with:
- Youth Parliament
- social activism
- the Young People's Independent Advisory Group
- the Young Women's Independent Advisory Group
The ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Youth City Board is coordinated by ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Youth Service, which sits within the council. This includes senior youth workers and youth support workers.
The ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ Youth City Board has attended events such as:
- ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ YouthCon
- the Young Inspectors Residential
- meetings with the West Midlands Police
