Gender health inequalities

The gender health inequalities project aims to influence and support action that will reduce gender related health inequalities in ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ. We recognise that inequalities exist for women, men, trans and non-binary communities, and these are often larger where there is intersectionality between identities.

We compiled and consolidated published data and local evidence to produce gender-focused reports on health inequalities. The reports highlight challenges for women’s and men’s health in ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ, with a focus on intersectional aspects of different communities and inclusion health groups.

The project builds upon the Public Health Division’s ongoing commitment to reducing health inequalities.
