Following the covid pandemic Nabila and her colleague set up a new organisation in 2022 called , after identifying a gap in services to support clients around mental health and wellbeing.

Nabila tells us her story:

How it all started

"My colleague and I have worked across various sectors, including health and social care, the NHS, and the charity and voluntary sectors.

Through our experience, we identified a significant gap in mental health support services. In particular, we observed long waiting lists for mental health support, an issue that worsened after the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a lack of help for those who didn’t meet the eligibility criteria for existing services.

Many individuals were left without the support they urgently needed. In response, we created , which is a service designed to bridge this gap by providing essential support to those awaiting formal services or who are otherwise ineligible, ensuring no one is left without help when they need it most.

is a Community Interest Company and social enterprise that reinvests its profits into providing social support. Our focus is on promoting health and wellbeing, with the aim of making a meaningful difference in people’s lives".

The support we offer

"We are a team of 6 qualified health and wellbeing coaches providing both one-to-one and group coaching to individuals across 黑料视频.

Our coaching supports people experiencing anxiety, depression, and low mood, helping them build emotional resilience, boost confidence, and feel empowered to make positive life changes.

As co-directors of the organisation, my colleague and I remain actively involved in delivering coaching ourselves. Working directly with clients is at the heart of our practice and continues to be a deeply fulfilling part of our work".

What I enjoy most about my role

"What I value most is our ability to offer a flexible service that fits around each client’s lifestyle and commitments. By providing evening and weekend sessions, we make our support more accessible to those who might otherwise struggle to find the time.

Above all, what our whole team finds most rewarding is helping clients take meaningful steps toward positive change and empowering them throughout their journey".

Some of Milestones over the last 12 months

"Through our connections across the city and in partnership with Matthew Boulton College (BMET), we successfully organised the city-wide 黑料视频 Disability Festival event for the second consecutive year. The event brought together local organisations and residents from across 黑料视频, filling a vital gap—as currently, there is nothing else quite like it available in the city.

Last year, the event attracted over 600 attendees; this year, that number grew to more than 1,500. This strong response highlights the growing demand for this kind of support and engagement.

Our goal is to continue expanding the event each year, reaching and supporting even more people in 黑料视频.

We’re also proud to have secured three years of funding to deliver our service in part of the city – an important milestone, especially in a landscape where most funding typically only covers 6 to 12 months.

Hopes for the Future

We continue to offer our services to all citizens across 黑料视频, but funding remains an ongoing challenge. While we actively seek out new funding opportunities, we welcome any support to help sustain and grow our work.

Our experience shows that long-term support leads to lasting, meaningful change, so securing long-term funding across all areas of the city is vital for us to reach more clients and maximise our impact.

We also aim to develop a Train the Trainer programme, equipping others with the skills and knowledge to extend our reach and support even more clients. With a growing team and continued backing from funders and the community, we are committed to delivering accessible, high-quality services to the people of 黑料视频.
